The Riptide Music Festival is a weekend-long event in Fort Lauderdale, FL, celebrating the best alternative and classic rock music. The eclectic range of musical genres featured at Riptide includes rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B, electronic and punk. The featured musical artists span multiple generations, from the 60s until today.
My Vision for The Rebrand
The motion of the Riptide is to go in two opposite directions; I took that vision and represented that as a type.
Design Pillars
- Using an italic/reverse italic typeface to represent the
- "Riptide" motion. Fun and colourful. Typeface "Bowie" gives it
- edgy rock, electric punk music vibes.
